About Me!

Labdien, my friends! Welcome to this little blog, a place where I am hoping to share a piece of my experience while I am an American expat in Latvia. Living in Riga on a Fulbright grant as an English Teaching Assistant, I will be spending the next year teaching both in and out of the classroom, immersing myself in another culture, attempting to learn what I can of the Latvian and Russian languages, and generally experiencing life to its fullest. Additionally, I am a recent and proud alum of Luther College where I graduated in May 2018 and majored in communication studies, music, and philosophy.Β

A true adventure-holic I love anything related to traveling, backpacking, and seeing the world from a new perspective. At any given time you can catch me reading, writing, playing violin and organ, jogging, cooking, loving dogs, philosophizing, debating the problems of the world, and (or while) sipping a glass of wine. I grew up in Austin, Minnesota and have spent the past 3 summers frolicking in the Absaroka-Beartooth mountains of Montana. Latvia’s just the next beautiful place I luckily get to call home. πŸ‡±πŸ‡»Β πŸ‡±πŸ‡»Β πŸ‡±πŸ‡»Β πŸ‡±πŸ‡»Β πŸ‡±πŸ‡»Β πŸ‡±πŸ‡»Β πŸ‡±πŸ‡»Β πŸ‡±πŸ‡»Β πŸ‡±πŸ‡»Β πŸ‡±πŸ‡»Β πŸ‡±πŸ‡»Β πŸ‡±πŸ‡»Β πŸ‡±πŸ‡»Β πŸ‡±πŸ‡»Β πŸ‡±πŸ‡»Β πŸ‡±πŸ‡»Β πŸ‡±πŸ‡»Β πŸ‡±πŸ‡»Β πŸ‡±πŸ‡»Β πŸ‡±πŸ‡»Β πŸ‡±πŸ‡»Β πŸ‡±πŸ‡»Β πŸ‡±πŸ‡»Β πŸ‡±πŸ‡»Β Β Β
